At Zagreb Airport, the gateway where many journeys through Croatia begin, the exhibition "Connecting Croatia" was officially opened, marking the 10th anniversary of the CRO Race - one of the most significant sporting events in the country.
The exhibition is located in the arrivals area, purposefully placed to share Croatia’s story with passengers from the very first step - a story of breathtaking nature, rich culture, and a strong sporting spirit. It aims to bring to life the emotions, memories, and landscapes that have shaped the CRO Race over the past decade.
Through 22 large-format photographs, the exhibition captures the most thrilling moments from the previous nine editions: from intense sprints and challenging climbs to stunning Croatian landscapes. Each photo tells a story of passion, unity, and the beauty of Croatia through the lens of sport, culture, and nature.
"CRO Race passes through every corner of our beautiful country and transforms everyday places into the world’s most beautiful sports arena," said race director Vladimir Miholjević during the opening ceremony.
The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the race organizers, Top Sport Events, and Zagreb Airport. The initiative is supported by key institutions, including the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, the Croatian National Tourist Board, the City of Zagreb, HEP, as well as numerous cities, counties, and long-standing partners - all of whom continue to recognize and support the CRO Race as a powerful ambassador of Croatia on the global stage through sport, tourism, and unity.
Zagreb Airport is proud to be part of this story - a story that connects the world with Croatia each day through the power of sport and beauty. The "Connecting Croatia" exhibition will remain open to all passengers throughout the 10th edition of the race.
