The start of air traffic within Croatia

In accordance with the monitoring of the epidemiological situation and the decisions of the competent public health and aviation institutions, with the Croatia Airlines’ flights from Zagreb to Split and Dubrovnik a partial renewal of air traffic within Croatia has begun on Monday, May 11. Croatia Airlines aircraft on the routes to Split and Dubrovnik fly twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, and depending on the development of the epidemiological situation and future measures of the competent institutions, it is expected to gradually introduce additional flights in domestic and then in international traffic which currently contains of daily flight to Frankfurt. Passengers expressed satisfaction with the re-establishment of air connections with the Croatian capital after a month and a half and pointed out that they felt safe during check-in and the whole flight thanks to all implemented measures.

"Croatia Airlines, our largest business partner, started flying to Split and Dubrovnik, which makes us extremely happy. We believe that this is just the beginning of the re-establishment of traffic on all Croatia Airlines’ lines from Zagreb to the joy of all of us and our passengers. The passenger terminal has been prepared for traffic in accordance with all prescribed measures to protect the health of all our passengers and employees. We hope for fast normalization of traffic and good traffic results in the coming months” said Huseyin Bahadir Bedir, President of the Management Board of International Zagreb Airport, during the welcome of the first flights from Dalmatian airports.
