Passengers again awarded Zagreb Airport with high scores for quality service

Passengers and users of Zagreb Airport have once again recognized and awarded Zagreb Airport, in a regular survey about the quality of service           ACI / ASQ (Airports Council International / Airport Service Quality). According to the results of the mentioned survey Zagreb Airport was named the Best Airport in Europe by Size and Region welcoming 2 to 5 million passengers in 2019.

This exceptional accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and commitment to passenger service excellence that everybody at Zagreb Airport put as the top priority in their everyday work.

"We are incredibly proud to be once again recognized by our passengers and users and awarded in the ACI Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey, oriented to passengers' satisfaction as the Best Airport in Europe by Size and Region within the group of airports of 2 to 5 million passengers for 2019.
This award came in March 2020 just before the 3rd anniversary of the opening of new passenger terminal. During past three years Zagreb Airport new passenger terminal accommodated almost 10 million passengers and those passengers recognized daily efforts of all employees and stakeholders and awarded Zagreb Airport. The fact that passengers recognized our services and activities makes us delighted and obliged to follow our vision to be the leading, innovative airport in the region with strong focus of customer satisfaction, service excellence and continuous education of our employees while offering high quality facilities," said Huseyin Bahadir Bedir, CEO of Zagreb Airport.

ACI revealed the winners of its world-renowned Airport Service Quality Program Awards today, 9th of March, in its headquarters in Montreal, Canada. ACI/ASQ program recognizes the airports around the world that deliver the best customer experience in the opinion of their own passengers.

This is the third consecutive time that Zagreb Airport has been recognized and awarded in this survey,
 
  • 2017 Zagreb Airport was named the Most Improved Airport
  • 2018 Zagreb Airport was named as the Best Airport in Europe within the Group of airports of 2 to 5 million passengers per year
  • 2019 Zagreb Airport was named as the Best Airport in Europe within the Group of airports of 2 to 5 million passengers per year

The Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program is the world's leading airport passenger service and benchmarking program, measuring passengers' satisfaction across 37 key performance indicators. It is conducted by certified ASQ field agents who interview passengers whilst at the airport, through ACI's ASQ Questionnaires. The winning airports of ASQ Award for 2019 will receive the plaques by ACI at the ASQ Awards Ceremony, which will be held during the ACI Customer Experience Global Summit, taking place in Krakow, Poland, in September 2020.
