Check whether you have prohibited items in your luggage
In order to protect passengers and civil aviation, restrictions have been introduced regarding the entry of certain items into the aircraft!!!!
Before arriving at the airport, inform yourself and find out what can you take in hand luggage into the cabin of the airplane, and what in checked luggage i.e. the luggage you hand in at the check in counter, at the airport when you check in for the flight. Planning and properly packing your luggage can make the security inspection process easier and make the security inspection experience more pleasant. It may sometimes happen that items that are normally allowed to enter the airplane may be subject to additional security screening or may not be allowed to enter the airplane if they cause an alarm during the security screening process or otherwise pose a security threat to civil aviation.
The final decision on whether the item will be allowed for entry or not is made by security personnel at the very point of security screening.
In order to make your trip easier and if you are in doubt, please check with the air carrier or the agent from whom you purchased the air ticket, whether the items you want to take with you into the aircraft cabin are allowed for entry or not. Additionally, we would like to inform you that certain items are not allowed to be transported either in the cabin or in the hold baggage department of the aircraft.
Explosives, ammunition, flammable liquids, fireworks/pyrotechnics, gasoline, gas cylinders, radioactive, corrosive or toxic substances, tear gas, stun spray and similar chemical gases and substances - are strictly prohibited for entry either in hand luggage or in checked baggage!!!!

Baggage packing and preparation for security inspection
When packing your luggage, whether it is hand luggage or checked luggage, take into account that you will have to remove certain items from the luggage/baggage due to security inspection.
DURING THE SECURITY INSPECTION OF PASSENGERS AND HAND LUGGAGE, THE PASSENGER IS OBLIGED
-to declare all liquids,
- separate laptops and other electronic devices (mobile phones, cameras, etc.),
- take off your coat and/or jacket, belt, wristwatch, cap/hat, etc., which will be checked as a separate piece of hand luggage.
Be prepared that you will have to remove your belt, wristwach, cap/hat, footwear (shoes/sneakers) as well as other accessories that will be checked as a separate piece of hand luggage. We advise you not to bring unnecessary items of clothing with you to the security checkpoint.
!!!For persons who have an heart pacemaker implant are obliged to inform the security personnel about their medical condition at the point of security inspection before the actual inspection, i.e. before passing through the metal detector door.
Liquids, Aerosols and Gels - LAGs
It is important to prepare for the security inspection at the security checkpoint point. Take care that the LAGs (Liquids, Aerosols and Gels) you carry are reduced to the prescribed minimum and that the volume of each bottle or container is not greater than the permitted 100ml or their equivalent.!!!!
Plastic bag with liquids, aerosols or gels, which you previously packed in your hand luggage, must be removed from your hand luggage, and they must be inspected separately at the security checkpoint point.
Liquids includes; gels, pastes, lotions, mixtures of liquids and solids, contents of pressurized bottles, e.g. toothpaste, hair gels, drinks, syrups, perfumes, shaving foam, deodorants and other items with similar content.
All Liquids, Aerosols and Gels (LAGs) with a capacity of no more than 100 ml or their equivalent, must be presented by the passenger in one transparent plastic bag with a capacity of up to 1 liter that can be resealed, whereby this plastic bag is adequately filled and completely closed.
All liquids (except medicines, special food and food for children) with a volume greater than 100 ml or their equivalent are not allowed to be brought into the airplane.
Medicines and special foods
Medicines and special foods (eg baby food and diabetic meals) needed during the flight (including nasal sprays, eye drops, insulin) can be brought on board.
It is the ultimate responsibility of the passenger that, if the need arises to show the proof for need for medication or special food (e.g. in the form of a doctor's prescription), for LAGs related to baby food, the child must be present on the flight.
Medicines, special diets or baby food may be carried outside of a clear plastic bag but must be presented separately at the security checkpoint point.
Special baggage and sports gear
If you are handing in a oversized luggage (bicycles, surfboards, diving equipment, golf clubs, etc.), it is recommended to arrive at the airport early in order to adequately secure and hand over the luggage to the baggage claim staff. Sports equipment must be packed appropriately to avoid damage and to meet the size and weight restrictions of the air carrier you are traveling with.
The rules for transporting sports equipment may differ depending on the air carrier, so we recommend that you check the above on the carrier's website or contact them directly.
Transportation of firearms by airplane
If you intend to transport a gun or other weapon, inform your air carrier when you buy your ticket and the staff at the passenger and baggage check-in desk when you arrive at the airport.

(3) Liquid fuel lighters that can be refilled are not allowed in hand luggage or in checked luggage but on a person, but the fuel in the tank of such a lighter must be completely absorbed. New, unused lighters of this type, but without traces of fuel inside their tanks, are allowed for transport in both checked baggage and hand luggage.
(4) One lighter or one box of matches can be brought onto the airplane, but the items must not be in hand luggage, nor in checked luggage but on the person.

*Various stoves powered by liquefied gas or liquid fuel tanks are allowed in checked baggage, but the gas or liquefied fuel tanks must not contain traces of them. It is also recommended, if you use such camping equipment that has permanent tanks, to empty the fuel or gas tanks a few days before the flight, and to keep the same tanks vented. Disposable fuel or gas containers are not allowed on the flight, whether they are full or empty.
