Iberia increases its flights to Croatia with introduction of direct air services to Zagreb



 

IBERIA INCREASES ITS FLIGHTS TO CROATIA
 
The Spanish airline will start flying to Zagreb on July 4th, twice a week: on Saturdays and Sundays


On June 16th, it will resume its flights to Dubrovnik, where it started flying in 2008 


More than 20,000 seats will be offered on these routes in 2009

Iberia increases its flights to Croatia that has become one of the European markets in which the airline has experienced a bigger growth. In 2009, it will offer more than 20,000 seats, 23% more than last year.

Iberia will start flying to Zagreb on July 4th, operating two weekly return flights - on Saturdays and Sundays - until September 20th. It expects to carry about 6,000 passengers on the route.
 
Passengers coming from Zagreb can continue their trip to other destinations of Iberia's network, both in Spain and other countries. Specifically, from the Croatian capital and over Madrid, the airline offers flights to another 37 Spanish cities, Lisbon and Porto in Portugal, 17 destinations in Latin America, five cities in the United States, as well as nine destinations in Africa.
Iberia will also resume its flights between Madrid and Dubrovnik from June 16th until September 29th. It will offer about 15,000 seats on flights operated on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The airline started flying this route from June through September 2008 and it carried nearly 13,000 passengers. Iberia is the only airline that links directly Madrid with Dubrovnik.  
All flights will be operated with aircraft of the Airbus A320 family, equipped with Business Class, more comfortable seats and a gastronomy service designed by the well-known Spanish chef Sergi Arola. The wine list offered to Business passenges on European routes has been carefully selected among the best Spanish wines.
