From 1st June 2010 Croatia Airlines introduces regular flights Zagreb – Athens thrice a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Price of return ticket for this flight starts from 164 € for on-line purchase (web page of Croatia Airlines www.croatiaairlines.com), and includes airport tax and ticketing service charge (TSC).
The new Business & General Aviation Terminal at Zagreb Airport offers generous facilities as well as its own Croatian customs and immigration services thus avoiding completely Zagreb's main terminal.
On Friday 19th June and Saturday 20th June Zagreb will host President of the People's Republic of China Hu Jintao.
In this connection necessary security measures will be taken in order to make sure the meeting is held according to plan. All such measures will be taken with as little inconvenience as possible to the citizens, but still some restrictions and delays will have to be expected in the traffic, in particular inside Zagreb Airport area.
Movement of delegations will also require extraordinary traffic regulations. Such movements will not be announced to the public, and will cause short stops in traffic independent of other roadblocks. There may also be other changes in the planned traffic regulations.
In particular the following areas will be affected:- Delays in traffic in direction to and from Zagreb Airport area must be expected.Passenger Registration – Check in Time:- Passsengers are asked to plan their arrival to Zagreb Airport for check in at least 1 hour earlier than it is normaly required for their departure flight.Public transport:- We would strongly recomend use of public transport or direct airport bus shuttle Pleso prijevoz. Parking:- Some areas in Zagreb Airport will have new parking regulations during these times. We ask motorists to be aware of these regulations and act accordingly. Delays must be expected. Police personnel will be present at the roadblocks and assist in choice of alternative routes.
IBERIA INCREASES ITS FLIGHTS TO CROATIA The Spanish airline will start flying to Zagreb on July 4th, twice a week: on Saturdays and Sundays
On June 16th, it will resume its flights to Dubrovnik, where it started flying in 2008
More than 20,000 seats will be offered on these routes in 2009

In this case, it is crucial not to use means of public transportation on the way to hospital. Have someone bring you in by car or, in case you are feeling very ill, call an ambulance.
